Menu and Diet

My mom wants me to make a menu for her. I suggested the idea, because it bothers me that we make up meals on the spot and usually, they are awful. So I think I am going to make a list of different dishes in their specific 'genre'. I have a ton of recipes for them to use, mine are always good, but they want to try new things...just not my new things. Confusing, I know! If you want some recipes, just ask for some. I have plenty.

I'm also starting a new diet on February 1st. I was thinking about using the P90X workout program, a friend uses it, and he's lost 28 pounds in 3 weeks. I may try and find it in a torrent somewhere. My diet is really simple. I have no restrictions on calories, just on the amount of food i actually eat. It goes something like this: 1 fruit in the morning, around 7 or 730. A small meal at 11 or 1130, something like 2 tacos from chipotle. Then another small meal around 230 or 3, about the same size as the second meal. And then dinner around 7 or 730, and that is a small (3-4 oz) piece of protein and a small side of veggies (3-4 stalks asparagus). This, combined with the workout that may or may not happen, will hopefully allow me to lose weight. I'm not looking to gain muscle, I have that. I just need to get the unhealthy fat off.

  1. I'll have to say that I hear a lot of good things about P90X, but I also hear that you have to be dedicated and really do it. I'll be interested to hear how it goes!
