Bill Maher's new movie, Religulous, is excellent. He travel around the world asking questions about religion. He believes that all religion is fake, as do I. Some questions that he asks are "If the childhood stories you were told...like Jack and the Bean Stalk...were swapped out for Jonah and the Whale...I mean "big fish"...would you know the differece?" Probably not. Did you know that denoucing religion all together is the nation's largest Minority, yet I can't get a scholarship anywhere for that. There is a Jewish company who manufactures machines to do work on the sabbath (because they are not allowed to do work or they get punnished...37 of things on a list are punnishable by death.). Bill asked "isnt this like trying to outsmart God?" the Jew had no answer. Then I thought somemore...If I am told not to eat meat on Friday's during lent, but we can eat fish, we only eat fish because the words that 'Jesus' or someone who makes up stuff like this, said were along the lines of "thou should not eat land animals during the lenten season" but he did not say anythig about fish. So you are outsmarting your god whenever you eat fish.
Also. The beggining of the move Zeitgiest is very legit. It explains where religion came from. The God Horus in 3000 BCE. Who has every charactaristic that jesus has. interesting right? and why did the catholic chruch take out specific portions of the bible. You know that Thomas Jefferson took out everything in the bible that proclaims jesus to be holy and of higher autority, and renamed it "the teachings of jesus of Nazereth" simple. The church should be teaching that. ITS NOT REAL. but if you belive it, everyone thinks better of you. how interesting. If i believed that fairy god mothers are real and can turn mice into horses in a nut, but believing that a man can live in a "big fish" for three days makes me very spiritual. right.
any dang way.
